From
the time of the Incas, textiles have held a position of
tremendous importance in Ecuador. The country is currently
recognized for the high quality, innovative designs, and
low cost of its textile products. Ecuador exports a full
array of textile goods, including finished clothing, household
items, fabrics, materials for industrial production, and
spun yarn. Principal destinations for Ecuadorian textiles
include the United States, Colombia, Chile, Brazil, Venezuela,
and Peru.
For
large orders, Ecuadorian producers are often willing to
custom manufacture their textile products to conform to
their buyers´ specifications.
